Sendung Die schönsten Bahnstrecken..., das Füllprogramm des Ersten, gibt es heute quasi auch als
Radiosendung. Wie soll das aussehen? Gar nicht, natürlich! Es klingt... Wir
kennen doch alle das rhythmische Rattern und Rauschen der Schienen, Räder und Masten.
Beruhigende Sache. Abwechslung bieten Geräuschquellen am Rande der Strecke. Wie
diese Kombination in spezifischer Form auf der Strecke der transmongolischen
Eisenbahn klingt, darf man heute Nacht um 0:15 Uhr im DeutschlandRadio Kultur erleben. Ausgestrahlt wird die Ursendung
von Klangkünstler Roland Etzins TransMongilian,
einer "hypnotischen Hommage an das Reisen".

programme Die schönsten Bahnstrecken...
(the most beautiful railway lines), a filler of the German channel Das Erste, can be heard on the radio
tonight. How will this look like? Of course, it won't! It will sound... Well,
we all know the rhythmical rattling and roaring of the rails, wheels, and
masts, don't we? It is a soothing kind of thing. Additionally, different
sources of noises alongside the railway lend variety. On DeutschlandRadio Kultur tonight at 0:15 a.m., we can experience
what this sounds like in its peculiar way on the transmongolian line. Sound
artist Roland Etzin's TransMongolian,
a "hypnotic homage to travelling", will be broadcasted for the first
time.
